Once you have created your NIA forum profile, then you are ready to use the forum. The structure of the forum is explained here.

 

To access the forum, you go to the forum webpage which you can access from the main NIA website (www.neurotherapy.com.au) by clicking  “FORUM” in the top right hand-corner. You are then greeted by the forum homepage. You can then click on “Forum”.

 

The forum webpage lists out the main categories and sub-categories which you can click on. Within these you can see (and click on) the various topics that have been created.

 

RESPONDING/CONTRIBUTING TO A TOPIC:

Once you click on a particular topic, you can type your response in the first grey text box (not the one labelled “Tags:”) and then click the “Post Reply” button at the bottom of the page.

Note that you can tick the box “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” before posting your reply if you like.

 

SUBSCRIBING AND “FAVORITING” TO A TOPIC:

If you would like to be notified of any responses to a particular topic, once you are on that topic’s page, click on the “Subscribe” button underneath the title of the topic. Similarly, if you would like to add the topic to your list of favourites (accessible from your profile) then click the “Favorite” button. You can undo these selections by clicking on the same button, or by managing them in your profile (click on login/profile in the website’s header).

 

CREATING NEW TOPICS:

If you would like to create a new topic, then select the sub-category that you would like to post in, then fill in the grey box labelled “Topic Title” and in the next larger grey box, type in the text of your post. If you feel that the topic that they would like to create does not fit into any of the existing sub-categories or main categories, then please contact us via email or our contact page with a request to create a new category.
