Apex Uplight Vacuum Cleaners With Duoclean
A Forward Step From Shark
Among various popular vacuum cleaners from Shark, the Apex Uplight series have become a phenomenon since they were introduced, with lots of innovations in both design and feature compared to previous models or series. Let’s see what Shark brought us in this post.
DESIGN
Shark apex uplight vacuum has a mixed design between an upright and a cordless stick model. It is a corded vacuum but just a little bigger and has a canister located right below the handle like a stick device.
With a weight of around 11lbs and a swivel steering, a Shark uplight vacuum is considered easy to control and go under furniture. It comes with a 30-feet power cord that allows you to work in a wide range and headlights that illuminates dark areas. What’s more, Shark equipped it with self-standing wheels on the back of the cleaning head that helps you store it neatly against the wall in the upright position without falling.
TECHNOLOGIES
A 9-inch-wide slim cleaning head may make many people underestimate these devices, but it contains more than we expected.
DuoClean
This is the latest technology Shark has applied to their machines and Shark Apex uplight vacuums are the first models to be equipped. Each device has an additional soft brush that helps remove tough dirt without damaging the floors. The only issue with this feature is that it may cause some drags when maneuvering on carpets.
Zero-M
This is a specially designed feature for pet hair. It is not an additional tool or utensil that helps collect pet hair more effectively, but one of the brushes in the cleaning head can itself get rid of wrapped hair and send it to the dust cup. This helps you feel comfortable vacuuming pet and human hair without worrying about stagnation in the brush.
LED lights
Besides the headlights supporting low-light conditions, the cleaning head of a Shark apex uplight corded lift away also has a brush indicator light that shows you whether the device is working properly or not. The red light displayed means the brush is not rolling and you need to turn off the machine and check. On the other hand, it is green.
Lift-away mode
An uplight vacuum also comes with lift-away technology, which is present in many Shark upright models. You can detach the canister with the cleaning hose to vacuum difficult or higher places. The lift-away pod is about 5lbs, very comfortable to carry.
FILTRATION SYSTEM
Nearly no breakthroughs for this, but Shark Apex vacuum cleaners still have a primary HEPA filter and the Anti-allergen Complete Seal Technology that can obtain up to 99.97% of dirt in the house and prevent it from going back to the air.
PERFORMANCE
With the DouClean technology, Shark apex uplight duoclean vacuums show superior performance on bare floors. They can effortlessly obtain most of the debris from sand to glass pieces.
A minor difficulty when moving on carpets doesn’t mean uplight vacuums are less effective on this surface. You will see no more powder, pet hair, biscuit pieces or seeds scattered on the rugs after cleaning.
CONCLUSION
With a price lower than $300, a Shark Apex uplight corded lift away vacuum is worth investing in for different cleaning tasks in the house.
