NIA is pleased to be now distributing the Betterfly Neurofeedback system.
Betterfly is a web-based neurofeedback system which seeks to address common issues with other neurofeedback systems. Among those are:
- Control over home-use clients
- User-friendliness
- Simplicity
- Client engagement
- Clinic management
- Start-up cost
Betterfly is controlled via a web-based platform where clinicians allocate sessions to their clients and set up protocols and then a computer application runs the session. The fees are per session – sessions can be bought in groups of 50 or 100. Feedback is given by a change in sound and vision levels, over any computer activity.
We see Betterfly as a great tool for home training in particular. Feel free to contact us, or attend one of our upcoming Betterfly workshops (see our courses page) If you want to learn more.
Can this be purchased and used by a non practitioner.
Hi Donna,
Thank you for your question and for your interest.
The short answer is: purchase – no, use – only if they are supervised by a practitioner.
If a non-practitioner wishes to do home training using Betterfly, they should find a neurofeedback practitioner who will work with them to set them up and supervise their use. You can find practitioners on our affiliates page: https://www.neurotherapy.com.au/affiliates/.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
Hi,
Could you please advise what standard of laptop is required to run the betterfly neurofeedback program?
We will be managed under a practitioner.
Thanks,
Erin

As per the product page, the requirements are:
