What is Neurofeedback?
About Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback, Neurotherapy, or EEG biofeedback is a method of training a client’s brainwaves using feedback (i.e. giving the client real-time information about their brainwaves). By setting appropriate goals, individualised for each client, this training can reduce psychological symptoms and performance can be enhanced. Effects of neurofeedback therapy are usually long-lasting or even permanent.
We have produced an online video course about neurofeedback, specifically tailored for newcomers to the field. This course is based on hundreds of conversations with newcomers – distilling the most important information to help you decide if neurofeedback is for you and to navigate the field with confidence. It is designed to be useful for those interested in neurofeedback for personal or professional reasons. Click here to find out more.
